Why Choose

Winter Tires?

Winter tires are specifically engineered with rubber compounds that keep their elasticity in colder temperatures and advance tread designs that grip better in dry, wet, icy and snowy conditions.

Here are the tire types

commonly used in Canada:

Summer Tires

Engineered for superior performance at temperatures above 7ºC, summer tires provide excellent grip on dry pavement and displace water with surprising efficiency in the wet.

Winter Tires

Strongly recommended for all road conditions when temperatures fall below 7ºC. The softer rubber compounds and deeper tread patterns combine to give winter tires the most traction possible across ice- and snow-covered roads

All Season Tires

These tires are optimized for the best all-around performance in the widest variety of weather conditions. When temperatures are cool, all-season tires offer better performance than summer tires.

Why Subaru Genuine Winter Wheels?

Subaru Genuine Winter Wheels are developed and tested by the same engineers who designed your Subaru with durability and quality in mind.

Choosing the right Subaru Genuine Winter Wheels for your Subaru is extremely important. When it comes down to it, there are two types of wheels to choose from, Subaru Genuine alloy or steel wheels.

Steel wheels are heavier and significantly stronger than alloy wheels making them the ideal choice for use in Winter. The extra weight of steel wheels is an advantage to help keep your Subaru from slipping on ice and snow.

Alloy wheels are much lighter than steel wheels and help maintain the look of your Subaru. Fuel economy is an advantage of alloy wheels, especially in city driving environments generally perform better than steel wheels.

EyeSight®

Driver Assist Technology

Subaru Corporation (SBR) has spent extensive development time to ensure that our wheels are among the safest, reliable and most durable products available for our customers. After an extensive development period, certain Subaru vehicles are now eligible for Winter Wheel downsizing without affecting vehicle safety systems such as EyeSight. Therefore, it is very important to ensure that the proper rolling diameter is consistent with all four winter wheels and all four tires are the same with the correct size. Failure to utilize approved wheels and/or approved tire sizes may result in vehicle safety systems such as EyeSight not operating correctly.
